HANIA brings harmony to the herd. Her movements are full of lightness, and her way of being is full of nobility. She is a who soothes emotions with her presence and is always looking for closeness to humans.
- Temperament: She inherited a cheerful disposition from her mother (Kia), but spiced it up with exceptional attentiveness. Hania is a “thinking” Toller – before she starts acting, she analyzes, which makes her extremely susceptible to training and cooperation.

VITA is a who brings to our Canadian Soul kennel an authentic Italian temperament and an unprecedented work ethic.
She came to us from the renowned del Pozzo Etrusco kennel from sunny Italy, which makes her a dog with exceptional genetic potential.
One of the few in Poland – Truffle
Specialist Although Lagotto Romagnolo is the only breed in the world specializing in finding truffles, this skill is still extremely rare in Poland.
Vita is one of the few dogs in the country that possess these unique abilities and actually work in the field, finding these noble mushrooms. Her work is pure precision, determination and proof that the instinct of her ancestors is still alive in her.
It is a dog made for movement and intellectual challenges. On a daily basis, he fulfills himself in two demanding sports disciplines, in which he is regularly successful:
- Agility: Impresses with agility, speed and excellent awareness of her own body. On the track, she is lightning-fast and extremely precise.
- Mantrailing: In olfactory work (functional tracking), he is distinguished by a sensational nose and an unwavering desire to reach his destination.
Despite his enormous sporting energy, Vita is an extremely balanced and joyful dog. She is a typical “quick-witted” – intelligent, quick learner and staring at people.
At Canadian Soul Vita, the Vita is proof for us that Lagotto can be a professional service dog, a titled athlete and the greatest family companion at the same time.
Two Species, One Goal: Our Truffle Specialists
At Canadian Soul, the passion for applied work is not just a theory – it is our everyday life. We are one of the few kennels in Poland that can boast of a duo of dogs of different breeds – Hania (Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever) and Vita (Lagotto Romagnolo) – who successfully work as truffle dogs.
Hania and Vita are professionals whose skills have been shaped at the highest level. They gained their experience during numerous trainings and workshops in Poland and abroad, where they honed their precision and perseverance in a diverse terrain.
Thanks to training in natural environments, our not only react to smell, but can read the area, work independently and show incredible determination in finding truffles.
Why is this important to us?
Olfactory work is the healthiest form of activity for a dog – it builds self-confidence, calms down and strengthens the bond with the handler. The fact that Hania and Vita are active truffle dogs is the best confirmation of their excellent health, stable psyche and outstanding performance skills, which they pass on to the next generations in our kennel.

KENZO is one of the most successful Tollers in Europe, regularly appreciated by international judges at home and abroad for its excellent anatomy, movement and outstanding expression of the breed.
As an FCI Multichampion, he has won Champion titles in many countries, such as Polish, Lithuania, Slovakia and Austria. The year 2024 brought him the prestigious title of Alpensieger 2024, and his world-class success was confirmed at Crufts 2023, where he was in the strict final (Top 7), competing with the best dogs from all over the world.
It is a unique dog that combines what is most valuable in the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever breed: historical roots, impeccable exterior and outstanding psyche. He came to us from a prestigious kennel in the USA, bringing a breath of freshness and the highest quality genes to Polish and European breeding.
- Royal Lineage: His family tree is based on the Javahill and Little River lines, the latter of which is where the entire Toller race descends. Having a dog with such strong roots is a great privilege for us.
